Xperia "True Remote EXperience" powered by au is an online tour experience you can enjoy from the comfort of your own home. The tour will be shot by Xperia™ smartphones and distributed in real time. Showing skeletal specimens from angles you cannot see at the venue, or the camera will get closer to the parts of the dinosaurs that are sick or injured for more detailed explanations, there will be plenty of unique online highlights that will make you want to learn more about dinosaurs. You can participate in this online tour from your own smartphone or computer from anywhere. This is another “DinoScience” with discoveries, excitement and fun moments that cannot be experienced in the real world.

The online tour by the navigator is an interactive tour with commentary and quizzes based on Mr. Dinosaur’s supervision, delivered through a live streaming platform developed by Sony. You can select the favorite cartoon characters of “Dinosaur Biyori,” the official “DinoScience” character, as your avatar and use it to react to make the tour more exciting on the platform. Also, you can freely switch the angles of the images of fossils such as Lane, which were shot from multiple angles, on your viewing screen, giving you a realistic feeling as if you were seeing them just right in front of you.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

The only tour that can be delivered and participated in by the live streaming platform developed by Sony is the online tour by the navigator. The premium online tour by Mr. Dinosaur will be delivered through the eplus live streaming service “Streaming+,” please check the eplus sign-in screen for instructions on how to use it.

* The images in STEP 1 to 4 show the dedicated platform screen for the online tour. The design of the screen is subject to change without notice.

STEP 1: PURCHASE TICKET

*To purchase, eplus member registration will be required.

Please select your preferred date, time and type of tours on the ticket information page.
After purchasing tickets, you will receive an e-mail from eplus with the URL of the online tour page. You can also find the URL from “Track my order(s)" of the eplus website.

STEP 2: GO TO ONLINE TOUR PAGE

After accessing the online tour page, the screen on the left will automatically change to the character selection screen on the right 5 seconds after it appears.
(You will not be able to proceed to the next screen until 10 minutes before the tour starts.)

Please make sure that the date and time of the ticket you have purchased is displayed at the top of the screen.

If the OS/browser you are using is not supported, the message “Not supported” will be displayed at the top of the screen. See Notes for compatible OS and browsers.

STEP 3: JOIN ONLINE TOUR

Starting 10 minutes before the start of the tour, you will be able to select a character and proceed to the tour screen by tapping “Choose your favorite character to join.”

The selected character will be displayed in the lower left corner of the screen. You can react to the character by tapping it.

* Background music will be played, please pay attention to the volume.

During the tour, you will be asked three questions with three choices.
Choose the answer you think is correct from A/B/C on the left.

* Please note that you can only choose one answer.

STEP 4: ONLINE TOUR ENDS

The ending page of the tour will automatically switch to the DinoScience official website (https://dino-science.com) three minutes after the tour ends.

Safety Measures

Guidelines During Your Visit

  • We will take your temperature as you enter the venue. If your temperature is 37.5°C or above, you will not be allowed entry. Please also refrain from attending if you feel unwell or have any symptoms of flu or cold.
  • You must wear a mask at all times inside the venue. Masks are optional for children age 2 and under. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that children age 3 and up do not feel uncomfortable or unwell as they wear their masks.
  • Please practice physical distancing both prior to entry and inside the venue.
  • Please wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly.
  • We recommend that you follow Kanagawa Prefecture's official Line account for coronavirus alerts, and download the government's Covid-19 Contact-Confirming App (COCOA).

What We Are Doing

  • We take your temperature upon entry.
  • We have set up hand sanitizing stations at various locations around the venue, including the entrance.
  • We conduct regular disinfecting, cleaning and ventilation of the venue.
  • Our staff members receive regular temperature and wellness checks. They wash and disinfect their hands thoroughly, and wear masks at all times.
  • We regulate entry so that the venue never gets too crowded.
  • We have implemented measures to prevent airborne transmission of Covid-19 at ticket kiosks, areas where food & drink are allowed, the museum shop, etc. Cashless payment is recommended. Cash payments will be handled using coin trays to minimize contact.

Please refrain from attending if any of the following apply to you.

  • Fever (temperature of 37.5℃ or above)
  • Cold-like symptoms such as cough or sore throat
  • Fatigue or trouble breathing
  • Loss of smell or taste
  • Recent close contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19
  • A member of your household or anyone you see regularly may currently have Covid-19
  • You have, in the past 14 days, been in a country or region to which Japan has entry restrictions or requires monitoring upon return, or had close contact with anyone who has been in one of these countries or regions.

In addition, please note that the current situation is evolving. A rise in Covid-19 cases, new regulations from the government, or changing circumstances at the venue itself may lead to revision or suspension, without notice, of ticket sales, admissions, or exhibition management policies.
