Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday: 9:00-18:00 (Last Entry 17:30)
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Holidays, and Aug 7-15: 9:00-21:00 (Last Entry 20:30)

  • Please read all of the following information before making your purchase.
  • Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. You may only be inside the exhibition during opening hours.
  • The exhibition will be open every day during its run.
  • On Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and Aug 7 (Sat) - 15 (Sun), we will be selling timed tickets, with slots available each hour on the hour.
  • Each ticket grants one (1) admittance to one person for the specified time/period. (One (1) Night Museum Pair Ticket is good for two (2) people).
  • Re-entry is not permitted.
  • Admission is free for children 3 and under.
  • If you have purchased an "Junior High School - Age 18" timed ticket, please bring a student ID or other ID that can confirm your age/date of birth.
  • Same-day tickets are only available in person at the venue. Otherwise, please go to the Tickets page on our official website. If tickets for a given day sell out in advance, no tickets will be available at the venue on that day. Furthermore, depending on circumstances, you may have to wait at the venue for quite a while to purchase same-day tickets. We thank you for your understanding in this matter.
  • Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged, cancelled, reissued or refunded.
  • The video and interactive portions of the exhibition may be closed without notice. Please be aware that tickets will not be refunded in this event.
  • If the exhibition must close at the date and time you are scheduled to attend due to updated government Covid-19 regulations, a natural disaster (typhoon, earthquake), or other exceptional event, we will offer either a refund or an exchange in accordance with our "Timed Ticket Exchange Guide."
  • We will take your temperature upon entry. If your temperature is 37.5°C or above, or you are exhibiting any symptoms of flu or cold, you will not be allowed entry. If this happens, and you have a timed ticket, we will offer either a refund or an exchange in accordance with our "Timed Ticket Exchange Guide."
  • You must wear a mask at all times inside the venue. Masks are optional for children 2 and under. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that children 3 and up do not feel uncomfortable or unwell as they wear their masks. Also, please observe "coughing manners".
  • As you enter, we ask that you have your temperature taken and disinfect your hands. If you do have a fever, you will be refused entry.

  • New developments with regard to the Covid-19 pandemic may result in changes to the exhibition, including its length and opening hours. Be sure to check our official website and social media accounts for the latest information and regulations before visiting.
  • Commercial resale of tickets is prohibited, and the organizer takes no responsibility for any legal action or penalties that result from such activity.
  • For safety reasons, some exhibits have age restrictions and other prerequisites for use. For more details, click here.
  • While you are at the venue, the organizers or media outlets may be filming or photographing, and you may be captured on film. Please be aware that these photos or films may appear that day on the internet and digital billboards, in advertisements after the event is completed, and in the media (TV, print, online, etc.).

Standard Tickets

Weekday Tickets (Applicable to Night Museum as well)

Please purchase "weekday tickets" (which is also applicable to to Night Museum adimission) using eplus, Ticket Pia, or Lawson Ticket. We recommend making your purchase in advance.
With the exception of Aug 7-15, you can also buy tickets on weekdays at the venue during opening hours (last entry is 30 minutes before closing); tickets at the venue will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. However, be aware that depending on crowds, you may have to wait to enter, or you may be unable to attend exhibition at all if the maximum number of guests for that day has been reached. Furthermore, refunds will not be offered, so please be sure before you make your purchase.

  • Note that Weekday Tickets (Applicalbe to Night Museum as well) will not be available on the weekdays between August 7 and 15.
  • This ticket grants entry to our Night Museum every Wednesday and Friday (excluding holidays and Aug 7-15). There is no time limit for how long you can stay inside the exhibition, so if you enter before 18:00, you are welcome to stay after.

Timed Tickets: Sat, Sun, Holidays, Aug 7-15

On Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and from August 7 to 15, we will be offering timed tickets, with slots available each hour on the hour. Please note that admission is not on a changeover basis.
Tickets are limited, and it is possible that they will sell out in advance, meaning none will be available at the venue on the day. We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance using eplus. Please line up at the entrance, or the end of the line for admission, at the time indicated on your ticket. You may not enter before your designated time.
Also, depending on how many people are inside the exhibition, you may have to wait beyond your designated admission time for entry.

Night Museum Pair Tickets

A discounted Pair Ticket allows entry for Night Museum after 18:00 on Wednesdays & Fridays excluding holidays and Aug 7-15. Entry is limited to two (2) guests. There is no "one-person" version of this ticket. Depending on crowds, you may have to wait to enter, or you may be unable to attend exhibition if the maximum number of guests for that day is reached.

  • The museum will close at 21:00 (Last Entry 20:30)

If the exhibition must close at the date and time you are scheduled to attend due to updated government Covid-19 regulations, a natural disaster (typhoon, earthquake), or other exceptional event, we will offer either a refund or an exchange. In addition, if we measure your temperature upon entry and it is 37.5°C or above, or you are exhibiting any symptoms of flu or cold, you will not be allowed entry. In this event, if you have a timed ticket, a refund or exchange for another time/date will be granted.

Please read the following guidelines carefully, and bring your ticket to the venue.

  • When you arrive at the venue, please line up at the entrance, and when it is your turn, present your ticket.
  • If we have reached the maximum number of admissions for the hour, you may not be allowed entry. If you come on the last days of the exhibition's run, there is a chance we will be too busy to accommodate you. We appreciate your understanding.
  • On any given day, priority will be given to people who have tickets for that time slot.
  • Crowds will be heavier at the start of each admission period, so try to avoid those times.
  • Be advised that only fully intact tickets will be considered valid. No stubs.

Guidelines During Your Visit

  • We will take your temperature as you enter the venue. If your temperature is 37.5°C or above, you will not be allowed entry. Please also refrain from attending if you feel unwell or have any symptoms of flu or cold.
  • You must wear a mask at all times inside the venue. Masks are optional for children age 2 and under. It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that children age 3 and up do not feel uncomfortable or unwell as they wear their masks.
  • Please practice physical distancing both prior to entry and inside the venue.
  • Please wash and disinfect your hands thoroughly.
  • We recommend that you follow Kanagawa Prefecture's official Line account for coronavirus alerts, and download the government's Covid-19 Contact-Confirming App (COCOA).

What We Are Doing

  • We take your temperature upon entry.
  • We have set up hand sanitizing stations at various locations around the venue, including the entrance.
  • We conduct regular disinfecting, cleaning and ventilation of the venue.
  • Our staff members receive regular temperature and wellness checks. They wash and disinfect their hands thoroughly, and wear masks at all times.
  • We regulate entry so that the venue never gets too crowded.
  • We have implemented measures to prevent airborne transmission of Covid-19 at ticket kiosks, areas where food & drink are allowed, the museum shop, etc. Cashless payment is recommended. Cash payments will be handled using coin trays to minimize contact.

Please refrain from attending if any of the following apply to you.

  • Fever (temperature of 37.5℃ or above)
  • Cold-like symptoms such as cough or sore throat
  • Fatigue or trouble breathing
  • Loss of smell or taste
  • Recent close contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19
  • A member of your household or anyone you see regularly may currently have Covid-19
  • You have, in the past 14 days, been in a country or region to which Japan has entry restrictions or requires monitoring upon return, or had close contact with anyone who has been in one of these countries or regions.

In addition, please note that the current situation is evolving. A rise in Covid-19 cases, new regulations from the government, or changing circumstances at the venue itself may lead to revision or suspension, without notice, of ticket sales, admissions, or exhibition management policies.
